Description
WB PRIMER is a water based, concrete compatible, polymer emulsion which enhances the adhesion of Durabit EF, Durabit Reo, Duram Azcoflex range of acrylic membranes as well as the Crystoflex membrane. WB Primer has very low VOCs, is classified as non dangerous goods and meets the ‘Green Star’ environment criteria.
WB Primer is a penetrative primer and should be used to prime porous substrates over which a water based membrane or coating will be applied.

Uses
WB PRIMER should be used to prime porous substrates over which a water based membrane or coating will be applied. It is NOT suitable for use on metal, non porous surfaces, shiny or very smooth concrete, glazed tiles, marble, terrazzo, particle board or chip board.

Suitable Surfaces
WB PRIMER is suitable for use on the following substrates:
– Concrete(porous)
– Cementitious surfaces
– Render
– Block work
– Fibre-cement sheeting
– Plaster board
– Brick

LIMITATIONS
• Duram WB Primer is NOT recommended for particle board or chip board. Duram Primeseal MC is recommended for
these surfaces.
• Duram WB Primer is NOT a vapour barrier. For exposed areas such as rooks or where there is a risk of entrapped moisture
in the surface which can cause the membrane to bubble, Duram Primeseal MC must be used

PRIMING
Duram WB Primer applied at 1Lt per 4m2 and allowed to dry, primers need to be applied at no less than the relevant Duram Primer
TDS.
Excessively porous, friable and dusty surfaces may require an additional priming coat

DRYING AND CURING
Drying and curing of the product is affected by type, dryness and porosity of the surface, temperature, humidity, ventilation, climate
conditions and application technique and therefore drying and curing can only be given as a guide.
Curing is usually 30 minutes – 1 hour.
